Fairie-ality

This beautiful book I recieved one christmas of an Auntie. It's pages are bursting with creativity and artistic designs. Not only with the gorgeous fairie outfits but also with thought and design that has gone into every individual page. There are different textures of paper, envelopes with designs in and hidden pages which are waiting to be explored.

The first page descibes the book as follows....
"The Season approaches, and you are cordially invited to experience first-hand an unforgettable adventure in fashion design. Enclosed within these covers is the latest collection from the top fairie couturier, the House of Ellwand. Whether you're heading to a cotillion or a picnic, a parade or a comet-couting party, Ellwand is the look.
From vivid evening wear to camouflaged flywear, the Ellwand line combines sheer artistry with unparalleled standards of workmanship to offer you one-of-a-kind garments of tasteful originality. Conjuring fabrics from fantasy and dresses from dreams, Ellwand will wrap you in his mystery. Welcome... to Fairie-ality."

Here's a little insight into the simplistic beauty of this intruiguing book....

The last chapter is basd on 'A Fairie Tale Wedding'
There are beautiful designs for the mother of the bride, the groom, the flower girls and the most breath taking.. the bride.

The time and effort that has gone into the making of all these tiny outfits is remarkable.. this book is just over A4 and has 128 pages.
As a budding artist I have read this book cover to cover a million times. It is a very easy but enjoyable read, and can be 'flicked' through if you do not desire to read the interesting words and phrases. I recommend this to anyone interested in fashion, art or someone wanting to read something a bit different!
